About Us

Virginia Medical Director’s Association (VAMDA) is Virginia’s professional association for medical directors, attending physicians, pharmacists, LTC facility administrators, nurse practitioners, directors of nursing, and others practicing in the long-term care continuum. The purpose of the Virginia Medical Directors Association is to provide Long-Term Care Professionals the opportunity to grow their professional skills through educational opportunities and networking.

Our goals include the following:

  • To serve the Long-Term Care Medical Community, including; Medical Directors, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Administrators, and those medical professionals who are still in training.
  • To provide high-quality programs providing CME Credits for LTC Medical Professionals.
  • To share cutting-edge information and solutions to LTC challenges.
  • To Provide an ongoing resource of cutting-edge information for Virginia’s long-term care community.
