Virginia Medical Director’s Association (VAMDA) is Virginia’s professional association for medical directors, attending physicians, pharmacists, LTC facility administrators, nurse practitioners, directors of nursing, and others practicing in the long-term care continuum. The purpose of the Virginia Medical Directors Association is to provide Long-Term Care Professionals the opportunity to grow their professional skills through educational opportunities and networking.
Our goals include the following:
- To serve the Long-Term Care Medical Community, including; Medical Directors, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Administrators, and those medical professionals who are still in training.
- To provide high-quality programs providing CME Credits for LTC Medical Professionals.
- To share cutting-edge information and solutions to LTC challenges.
- To Provide an ongoing resource of cutting-edge information for Virginia’s long-term care community.
We are dedicated to providing excellent long-term care in Virginia and to improving collaboration among disciplines providing such care through education, advocacy, information, and professional development.
